Pilocide™ treatments allow for precise, timely, and effective administration of local antibacterial medications into the skin. Clinically relevant doses of antibacterials are administered directly into the inner layers of the skin—the dermis and/or hypodermis—where hair follicles that harbor approximately 25% of the skin's bacteria reside. This approach allows for the immediate establishment of effective antibacterial activity with microdoses of medication.
