A dual-chamber syringe comprises one chamber with medication that suppresses the release of bacteria from hair follicles, e.g., lidocaine in solution, which can function dually as a diluent). A second chamber contains a lyophilized antibiotic. STEP 1) The end user applies force onto the syringe plunger, pushing it down, moving the lidocaine diluent into the second chamber, and reconstituting the antibiotic into solution. STEP 2) The local antibiotic and lidocaine are coadministered into the patient's skin.
